SLR acquires Hydrobiology

We are pleased to announce that SLR has acquired Hydrobiology, a highly respected water environmental sciences consultancy.
Led by Directors, Dr. Andy Markham, Dr. Ross Smith, Phil Whittle and Simon Drummond, Hydrobiology is a 50+ person team of specialists with offices in Brisbane, Perth, and Singapore. They deliver integrated water environmental services across physical, biological and chemical processes. Combining technical excellence with strong scientific capability, the team has built a trusted reputation in the industry for delivering high-quality, science-led outcomes.
Integrating the Hydrobiology team strengthens SLR’s technical capability, enabling us to capitalise on the growing demand for ecological and hydrological solutions, addressing natural capital-related challenges, which are becoming increasingly important and complex. It also enhances our Ports & Marine offering, and complements our existing advisory services in Singapore, building on our integrated strengths that combine technical, digital, and advisory expertise to support our clients in Making Sustainability Happen.
